LinkedIn has experienced major growth in the last number of years having grown from 3 to 1200 people since their arrival in Ireland in 2010. Their new home is in the first commissioned and owned building by LinkedIn outside of the US. The building is 6 storeys high over a basement and 17,000sqm in total with, electric car charging points, music room, rooftop barista and much more.
W2W supplied Optima Revolution 100 double glazed screens and Edge Affinity doors to achieve a 48dB acoustic rating. Due to the scale of this building LinkedIn wanted to introduce a meeting room booking system. W2W designed and custom-made a room booking attachment that was installed on the door panels of each meeting room.
A bespoke rotating door allows access into a large kitchen area. The large rotating door interlocks with two single doors to extend into one long fixed screen. W2W designed and managed the installation of these doors. The reception in the LinkedIn HQ is flanked by a large open Atrium Space. W2W installed 17.5mm glass sealed with structural silicone into a steel tracking system.
This building is certified to LEED gold standard.
